Our Mission
We’re first about joyfully raising and training our five children to be happy, faithful, and responsible young people. Second, we’re about producing clean and delicious food that is produced in an environmentally responsible manner.

Our Commitment
As stewards of our environment and farm, we are committed to the following practices:
We don’t use any chemical or petroleum-based fertilizers. We fertilize the old fashion way, with compost, manure, and worm castings. We don’t use chemical pesticides on our veggies. Our current methods of pest control include manual removal, diatomaceous earth, flower derived solutions, and insecticidal soap. Our animals are treated lovingly and humanely. We try as much as possible to provide a habitat that closely resembles the animals natural environment

Our Products

Authentic Country Brown Eggs - All Natural
At Heavenly Homestead, our birds are in fresh air daily. They are kept on pasture, where they can eat grass, seeds, and grasshoppers. They’re healthy and strong and lay eggs that display that same vitality in appearance, taste, and healthiness. Studies have shown increased levels Omega 3 fatty acids in pastured eggs. Our hens are moved daily to fresh pasture to keep pathogens in check and to provide necessary rest periods for the grass. This frequent movement of our birds across fresh pasture is similar to what is seen in nature and produces the very best eggs!

Fresh Local Pasture-Raised Poultry - All Natural
Our meat chickens are also raised outdoors on pasture. They are protected from predators in our open-air shelters which are moved daily to fresh pasture. This more-natural production model results in a healthy, low-fat bird with a tender taste that supermarket chicken just can’t be beat. Available seasonally.

Authentic Country Raised Pork
We hope to have pork in the not-too-distant future. A pig that has been raised outdoors, pampered by our family, allowed to root, dig, and express its pigness, is a happy low-stress pig. And one that serves up as a gourmet treat! Let us know if you would be interested in getting pork from us in the future.

Holiday Roasters
For the holiday season, we've decided to raise a batch of large roasting chickens, instead of turkeys. We anticipate that these fat, juicy roasters will sell out quickly near the holidays. Order early!

Organic Veggies
Seasonal favorites available from our garden on a limited basis. We mainly raise vegetables for our own family, but occasionally have some extra to sell. Ask when you come to pickup your chickens!
